George Nicolson’s principal contract team were engaged by Greene King to undertake a full refurbishment of the internal and redecoration to the external of Girdwoods Bar, Wishaw.
The transforming design was carried out by Davidson Baxter Partnership Ltd, a leading architects based in Kirkcaldy. The design reinstated the older corner main door, removing the existing vestibule and entrance way. In addition, the ladies toilet area was fully restructured.
Finishes throughout were renewed with new fixed seating, flooring, blinds, a redesigned lounge gantry as well as the installation of bespoke panelling and wallcoverings.
The works were carried out over a short three week programme and completed within budget.
