Glengoyne Distillery is a picture-postcard whisky distillery who host informative and entertaining tours.
George Nicolson were pleased to carry out the decoration works to the Visitor Centre on behalf of Stag Developments (Scot) Ltd, specialists in architectural joinery, building, shopfitting and internal refurbishment.
Within the ground and first floors of the Visitor Centre, our skilled operatives prepared and painted ceilings, cornices, front of house walls, back of house walls, timber panelling, doors, facings, skirtings, windows and timber soffits. In addition, the external decking was sanded by hand with timber non-slip paint being applied thereafter.
Glengoyne Distillery snuggles into Dumgoyne Hill, just 14 miles north of Glasgow, with the mountains of Loch Lomond in the distance. They are easy to reach so you have no excuse. Drive in less than 40 minutes from Glasgow or 30 minutes from Stirling. Cycle or walk the famous West Highland Way. Better still, get the bus as it stops at their door. However you get there, it will be well worth it.
