George Nicolson, along with their subcontracting team, are proud to have carried out further works to Strathcarron Hospice, Denny.
Works involved the upgrade and install of 2 no. patient hoists and the general upgrade of two of the patient rooms. This encompassed the installing of structural steel for the hoists, a re-orientation of the en-suites and services to allow the install of bespoke furniture units as well as a nursing station by Innova. Electrical upgrading, extensive joinery and partitioning works along with flooring and redecoration were undertaken.
Designed by Burns Design, Glasgow, the rooms were transformed to give a softer hotel feel for the patients whilst having all the required clinical elements.
The works were carried out whilst the hospice remained fully functioning and the programme was tailored to minimise disturbance to the working of the hospice.
