George Nicolson’s principal contract team were pleased to be engaged by Greene King to undertake a full refurbishment of The East End Fox, Glasgow (formerly known as Barrachnie Inn).
The Barrachnie had laid in a state of un-occupancy for 18 months. The pub was in a reasonable condition but required new life “breathed into it”. The new concept was imagined and created by the team from Greene King and Davidson Baxter Partnership Ltd along with the vision for the building through Ferrier Richardson.
The project encompassed the full renovation of the pub itself, the two derelict flats and a full extensive repair on the exterior including the upgrade of the former car park to become a garden drinking and eating area. Works took 6 weeks to complete and were completed to budget. The finished product saw the birth of The East End Fox.
The East End Fox located in Baillieston, Glasgow have created a lovely venue for a morning coffee, glass of wine or chilled lager, light lunch or evening dinner. Furthermore, they have a beer garden that can be booked exclusively to host a business meeting or a special family gathering.
