George Nicolson were delighted to be instructed by Signature Group to undertake the decoration works to the 1st floor of McLarens on the Corner, Edinburgh.
Within the refurbishment, our works included the preparation and decoration of the Bar and 2 no. rooms.
The works to the Bar encompassed the decoration of 3 no. walls and woodwork such as sliding doors, windows, panels and skirtings.
In Room 1, the new bulkhead and 3 no. pattresses were filled, prepared and decorated to colour match the feature ceiling. The cornice, walls and mouldings together with woodwork such as sliding doors and skirtings were also decorated to the client’s specification. Furthermore, to the fireplace wall, our skilled painters and decorators installed wallcovering to the 4 no. feature panels.
Whilst protecting the gold painted mouldings in Room 2, the walls were prepared, touched up and then decorated. The loose paper to the ceiling was softened and stuck back in place.
