George Nicolson were pleased to undertake further decoration works at the George Street offices of abrdn (formerly known as Aberdeen Standard Investments).
Our works encompassed the decoration of the ceilings, soffits, walls, skirtings, handrails and balutstrades at all levels within the 3 stairwells (all of which are listed parts of the building). The timber clad walls were prepared and decorated with water based materials to ensure no strong and unpleasant smells flowed into the surrounding office areas where staff were working. Whilst using pads to protect the wall surfaces, our trained operatives were required to work off ladders and stair mates to reach the high level areas.
The end result has been welcomed by the client.
