As Principal Contractor, George Nicolsons, together with our sub-contract team, were engaged by Greene King to undertake an external refurbishment and redecoration of Calderwood inn, East Kilbride.
Missing, slipped or broken slates and ridge tiles were replaced on the roof. To all elevations, the vegetation was removed from the rainwater goods with the gutters and downpipes repaired where required. The cracked and blown off render was also repaired.
To allow the safe execution of working at height, a scaffold was erected to enable completion of the high level works. Our skilled operatives prepared and decorated gutters, downpipes, masonry walls, windows, doors, railings and security bars.
New signage was designed and installed by Ashleigh Signs.
Over a three week period, whilst they continued to fully trade, the external of the Calderwood Inn was given a clean and fresh new look.
Calderwood Inn is a well established community pub with it’s main bar, pool table, jukebox and several TV’s based on the ground floor. On the first floor, you will find a private function room available to book for all occasions (has its own bar and toilet facilities).
