George Nicolson were delighted to be instructed by TRAC HLM Ltd to undertake further decoration works within the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh.
Our works encompassed the preparation and decoration to the ceilings and walls within the offices of two Deputy Presiding Officers, as well as the Lounge, office and WC within the Presiding Officer Office Suite during the Parliamentary Dissolution.
Works were undertaken during normal working hours and within a weekend with minimal disruption.
The Scottish Parliament at Holyrood is the home of Scottish democracy. They are open throughout the year and offer the opportunity to watch Parliamentary business taking place, and on certain days there are free guided tours and talks. We are grateful to have received the following testimonial from our client:
“Nicolson Decorators recently carried out painting works within some of the highest profile areas of the Scottish Parliament for TRAC HLM during the dissolution period.
Their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail throughout the project. Working within such a sensitive and prestigious environment requires a high level of care, and they consistently met these demands while adhering to strict timelines and security protocols.
The quality of workmanship was outstanding, with a flawless finish achieved across all areas. Equally impressive was their proactive communication and ability to coordinate efficiently with other contractors on site, ensuring a smooth and well-managed delivery.”
