As Principal Contractor, George Nicolsons, together with our sub-contract team, were pleased to be engaged by Greene King, to undertake refurbishment works to The Steelworks, Motherwell.
Internally, the existing opening between the function suite and bar/grill was widened. To the accessible WC, works encompassed the demolition of part of the existing wall and relocation of the radiator. A new door to the store was installed. New flooring was added and affected areas redecorated.
Externally, roof repairs were completed. A new roof was installed to the existing pergolas together with new festoon lighting. The height of the fence was reduced and the artificial grass removed with the existing paving power washed. New signage was installed following the decoration of walls, woodwork and metalwork. New jumbrellas and a timber bench were also added.
Over a three week period, The Steelworks, Motherwell was fully transformed through the design and concept created by CSY Architects, together with the team at Greene King.
