George Nicolson, along with their principal contracts team, were asked to become involved in the project at Native Edinburgh.
Our works at the Hotel included the upgrade of the existing reception meeting room and coffee area into a bar, lounge and reception. Over a four week period, the areas were reconfigured, services moved into position and the new room layout formed. A bespoke bar, gantry and reception desk were manufactured and put into place along with semi circular fixed seating booths. The floor and wall finishes were a solid hardwood laid in a herringbone style design with paints and wallcoverings applied to create a subdued and rich ambiance.
George Nicolson were very proud of the final result. This was a great opportunity to show what can be achieved in a short space of time to make such a difference.
The design was carried out by Burns Design, Glasgow.
