As Principal Contractor, George Nicolson, together with our sub-contract team, were pleased to be engaged by Greene King, and their direct contractors, to undertake a full refurbishment of The Snaffle Bit, Glasgow.
Internally, a new opening was formed through the back bar fittings. The existing back bar was adapted and the under counter shelving replaced. New screens, pot shelves and lighting were installed. The existing timber floor was repaired and then stained with new floor finishes installed within the other remaining areas. The fixed seating was reupholstered and the toilets upgraded. Decoration works were completed throughout which included the hanging of wallcoverings to public areas.
Externally, the new furniture was positioned and the new signage installed following the decoration of walls, woodwork and metalwork.
Over a three week period, The Snaffle Bit, Glasgow was fully transformed through the design and concept created by Melling Ridgeway & Partners Ltd, together with the team at Greene King. This admirable new look now offers a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff alike.
