George Nicolson, in conjunction with Principal Contractor Thomas Johnstone Ltd, were delighted to be awarded the decoration package for the fit out of Block 3 (a 9 storey new build section) and Block 5 (existing building conversion) of the Virgin Hotels, Edinburgh.
Over the last 2 years, our works included the restoration of existing period features within the India Building section of the project which encompassed filling and taping of all new partitions. The works involved co-ordinating along with multiple trades and programme milestones for the duration of the project. ln addition, further works encompassed the painting of metalwork such as the metal bar balustrades as well as the painting of floors and concrete surfaces. Furthermore, our skilled operatives were required to install various new designer wallcoverings to numerous areas throughout.
