George Nicolson were pleased to be awarded the decoration works to Bellevue Chapel, Edinburgh through John Dennis & Company (Scotland) Ltd.
Internally, our works encompassed the preparation, ames taping and decoration to walls, new partitions, ceilings and woodwork including skirtings, windows, internal doors, panelling and shelving to the extension, Chapel, balcony, vestibule, office, landing, stairs, meeting rooms, upper hall, rear hall, kitchen, WC’s, lobby and stores. Intumescent coatings were applied to doors, frames and panels to achieve 1 hr fire rating. In addition, our skilled operatives were required to install digital image wallcoverings.
Externally, there was preparation and painting to doors, facings, new fascia, soffit, gutters, downpipes, handrails and railings.
Whilst lower level decoration works were carried out by working off ladders, our operatives required the use of powered access equipment to enable them to work safely at the high level areas.
